What is a Cake Pop or Cake Ball?
Both Cake Pops & Cake Balls are a sweet treats that start with a fully baked cake that is crumbled and rolled by hand. Next, it is dipped in chocolate and the outside of each sweet treat is then hand designed to capture that irresistible appeal. Only thing that separates a cake pop vs a cake ball, is the stick that is included with a cake pop.
What are extras/flash sales?
Extras & Flash sales are specialty flavors that we offer/post randomly throughout the month, usually including a new flavor or multiple flavors. It gives our customers a fun midweek sweet treat to enjoy or build your own variety pack for a weekend get together.
Is Kate’s Poperella a storefront?
No, Kate’s Poperella is not a storefront. We are a home based and online business at this time only.
Do you make Cakes or any other Sweet Treats?
No, we do not make cakes. Depending on the request, some other sweet treats are available.
Do I need to pre-order?
We make each sweet treat made to order, so all orders need to be pre-ordered. (excluding extras/flash sales)
How can I place my order?
Fill out one of our convenient order forms on the website or send us a text, FB message, email or simply give us a call.
How big are Cake Pops & Cake Balls?
Both cake pops & cake balls are about 1.5” in diameter and weigh just over 1 oz. Each cake pop or cake ball is about 2-4 bites of sweetness.
Do you deliver?
Yes, upon request we deliver to the Bismarck/Mandan area.
Delivery charge is $15 per order placed and any delivery arrangement is required upon order confirmation.
Do you offer vegan or gluten free cake pops?
No, unfortunately we do not at this time.
Can you Mix & Match?
Yes, but all flavors require at least one dozen ordered. Specialty flavors are an addition $6 per flavor. Please note that some specialty flavors cannot be hand molded into different shapes or specific cake pop characters/themes.
What if I have food allergies?
Our baked goods are made in a kitchen that may process known food allergens including but not limited to eggs, dairy, nuts, soy and wheat. If you have a food allergy, we do not recommend consuming our products.
How many flavors do I offer?
We offer 80 plus flavors and will continue to add new flavors throughout the year.
How long do Cake Pops & Cake Balls last?
Enjoy your sweet treats at room temperature within 1 week or store up to 2-3 weeks in the refrigerator. Both cake pops & cake balls may be frozen for longer periods of time but appearance may differ upon thawing.
What is the minimum order?
All orders require a minimum of 1 dozen cake pops or cake balls. With the only exceptions being, extras/flash sales and holidays.
How many cake pops should I order?
We recommend 1-2 cake pops or cake balls per person if you are offering other desserts. Otherwise, fill each day with some sweetness and order away.
What is a retainer?
A retainer is used to ensure that the event date and required supplies for orders is secured, and is non-refundable. The retainer also covers design research and planning of the order. This way, every order is guaranteed the proper amount of attention required. At times, additional product usage, design research, and flavor testing may be needed. For these reasons, we are unable to refund retainers at any time.
